Simpsons Road Rage Dolphin Emulator

May 17, 2017  The Nintendo Reviewer makes quick cash recklessly in The Simpsons Road Rage for the GameCube. Developer: Radical Entertainment Publisher: Electronic Arts Rat. Mar 05, 2010  I know it has been a while, but I just recently got the simpsons road rage to work at full speed (in game). I don't know if you have the right versions, but I am using GSDx 2404 with DirectX 10 Hardware until the main menu, then I switch it to DirectX 10. In a twist on Crazy Taxi's gameplay, The Simpsons Road Rage has two additional ways of earning money-some fares will give you bonuses for either driving safely or going on a rampage, and in these.

Gathered here are all those games which don't show anything or crash before any main title or intro, so maybe it will let us figure out what they have in common which, I guess, could help the devs fix 'em (whenever they see fit, of course ^^)
Please, if you name games for me to add to the list, be sure they match one of the categories (expressed by the color) and tell me which one (so please test if the game does start with LLE plugin or Software renderer, etc...this will help figure out the exact issue and fix it eventually)
If you know the exact revision which broke a game, please name it, too. But no guessing, aye

By popular demand, I've altered this thread to now also house a list of those titles crashing/hanging/freezing at some point ingame. Since it is important that only games are reported which actually have critical parts emulation-wise and random crashes or other problems with the emulator itself might lead to false reports, I will add games only if two seperate users report/confirm that there is a consistent issue in a part of given game (or if I trust the reporter's judgement, like e.g. a dev).
Also, it's good to tell me when one of the games from the list starts working cuz I don't have all of 'em and thus cannot know
Anyway, here's the list... I'll expand it if you tell me about more games.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These games - in contrast to the others in this thread - crash, hang or freeze at a specific point IN-GAME:
- Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (Wii)
(game freezes at final boss. https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/10640 ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKyHpSMVxnU&feature=youtu.be)
- Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth (WiiWare)
(Before, this game needed dual core disabled not to freeze with a black screen after the start menu. Now even after disabling dual core, this still happens.)
- Contra ReBirth (WiiWare)
(Before, this game needed dual core disabled not to freeze with a black screen after the start menu. Now even after disabling dual core, this still happens.)
- Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean (GC)
(freeze/crash is caused by enabling dual core mode and allowing any photo Magnus to appear on screen)
These games have been reported (multiple times) to have random crashes, so the crashes are not reproducible but it's obvious that Dolphin is having issues here:
- 007: Agent Under Fire (GC)
(freezes randomly between levels)
- Baten Kaitos Origins (GC)
- Carmen Sandiego: The Secret of the Stolen Drums (GC)
( has a 50% chance of freezing during any loading screen)
- Monopoly Streets (Wii)
(when it crashes, it does so on loading screens)
- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GC)
(various stability issues)
- Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (GC)
(When you load a custom graphic (user-made emblem) and head back to Create a Skater to apply it onto your character, the game crashes, and an endless string of error messages from the emulator follows;
workaround: Choose the clothing you want to place a custom emblem on, select 'Custom graphic', back out, go to Create a Graphic and load your custom one, then save your game from the Options menu.)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These games have reproducible crashes/freezes PRE-ingame:
- Cars 2 (Wii)
(crashes on startup)
- Dead Rising - Chop Till You Drop (Wii)
(doesn't run in JITIL; JIT works, though)
- Disney Infinity (Wii)
(game requires Disney Infinity base to play which cannot be emulated at this time. Error messages are: Unhandled disasm case in write handler! then BackPatch - failed to disassemble MOV instruction Error encountered accessing emulated address a0000643. Culprit instruction: mov byte ptr ds:[rbx+rdx], cl at 0x196d6f48 then BackPatch: Currently only supporting reads. Attempted to write to a0000643. then BackPatch write - not through EAX then Instruction too small and then finally Dolphin crashes. This was tested with D3D9 (Deprecated), D3D11, OGL and Software Renderer as well as attempting to change the DSP settings to no avail.)
- Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii)
(issue: https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=4709 )
- Medabots Infinity (GC)
(used to work with Alternate RFI, but option is no longer available)
- Red Steel (Wii)
(IOCTL_ES_LAUNCH error message; works now but only if no NAND dump is installed)
- Star Wars: The Clone Wars (GC)
(probably issues with MMU: freezes/crashes on one of the first loading screens)
- Toy Story 3 (Wii)

fixed:

- Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex (Wii)
- Brunswick Pro Bowling (Wii)
- Call Of Duty: World at War (Wii)
- Cursed Mountain (Wii)
- CSI: Deadly Intent (Wii)
- CSI: Hard Evidence (Wii)
- FlingSmash (Wii)
- Grand Slam Tennis (Wii)
- GT Pro Series (Wii)
- Guinness World Records: The Videogame (Wii)
- Hollywood Squares (Wii)
(needs XFB)
- The Judo (Wii)
(The Wii System Language has to be changed to Japanese in the options.)
- Kirby's Return to Dream Land (Wii)
- Mario Power Tennis (Wii)
- Metroid Trilogy (Wii)
- Mortal Kombat - Armageddon (Wii)
(hangs with a grey screen after showing game controller options; a fix for this issue is either using a NAND dump from your system or download the ticket from here: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=13727)

- Trauma Center: New Blood (Wii)
